Job Description

The role of an Accountant is to manage the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage all aspects of AP and AR, including processing vendor invoices and generating customer invoices.
  • Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and accruals.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of key financial reports, such as the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement and Balance Sheet.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • Experience: 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting or full-charge bookkeeping role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with accounting software and a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Accounting Knowledge: A solid understanding of core accounting principles.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
