Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax and Accounting Associate to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional support to clients in addressing their tax and accounting inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records of client accounts, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations, offering expert guidance and advice to clients.
  • Assist clients in understanding and meeting tax and compliance requirements, minimizing risks and optimizing benefits.
  • Manage bookkeeping tasks, including payables, receivables, and petty cash maintenance, ensuring efficient financial management.
  • Coordinate with banks for daily deposits and banking operations, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring smooth transactions.
  • Calculate taxes owed by accurately applying tax codes and regulations, providing timely and accurate submissions.
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses, ranging from simple to complex cases, with attention to detail and expertise.
  • Help clients strategically leverage federal, state, and local tax codes to maximize eligible benefits, resulting in significant cost savings.
  • Identify deductions and tax credits to minimize client tax liabilities, optimizing financial performance.
  • Oversee VAT and Corporate Tax registration requirements and thresholds, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
  • Review and analyze financial records, including income statements and expenditure documentation, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations comprehensively, gathering essential information for informed decision-making.
  • Verify the accuracy of past tax returns and ensure records are consistently reconciled, maintaining data integrity and reducing errors.
  • Refer to tax law handbooks for complex returns to ensure full compliance, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Advise clients on relevant laws, including VAT, CT, AML, ESR, and UBO regulations, ensuring they stay informed and compliant.
  • Address and resolve client complaints professionally and efficiently, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Recommend financial products and services that meet client needs, fostering long-term relationships and growth.
  • Use electronic filing software for accurate and timely tax return submission, ensuring seamless communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure clients receive copies of their filed tax returns for records, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Regularly update financial trackers and databases for accuracy and accessibility, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly summary reports for management review, providing critical insights and analysis.
