Strategic Business Partner Role

The role of a Strategic Business Partner is crucial in delivering successful solutions. This involves fostering communication between business stakeholders and Agile development teams, identifying and analyzing business requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and desired outcomes
  • Elicit and clarify business requirements through interviews, workshops, and meetings
  • Document requirements using user stories, use cases, process flows, and other appropriate techniques
  • Analyze existing business processes and customer experience, recommending improvements or enhancements
  • Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and development teams to plan and prioritize backlog items
  • Ensure a shared understanding of requirements and provide clarification and address questions or issues
  • Assist with release planning and sprint planning, ensuring well-defined and prioritized requirements
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback, validate requirements, and resolve conflicts
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with development teams during sprint execution, prepare test cases, and perform user acceptance testing (UAT)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, business, accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Analyst, Business Analyst, or Agile Business Analyst in an Agile development environment
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies and related tools
