Job Overview

This role involves processing claims and returns requests. You will work closely with other departments to resolve disputes, ensuring system accuracy and customer satisfaction.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Process complex transactions for claims and returns requests.
  • Manage credits and/or denials.
  • Collaborate with departments to resolve disputed claims or debits.
  • Monitor system for outstanding deductions and process resolution.
  • Approve/deny returns based on policy.
  • Assist with dispute resolution.
  • Review debit information and contact customers for missing details.
  • Reconcile balances and notify distribution centers of shipping discrepancies.
  • Authorize credit up to assigned value.
  • Maintain accurate credit files and distribute supporting documents.
  • Prepare denial letters for debits/claims denied.
  • Provide excellent service to business unit POCs and internal customers.
  • Generate monthly metric reports and field credit reports.
  • Collaborate with sales force and collections to minimize outstanding balances.
  • Process promotional event credits.
  • Evaluate issues and concerns with management.
  • Verify reviewable items with planners and counterparts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Business degree or background (optional).
  • Customer Service Experience (optional).
  • Proficiency in PC applications: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, Email, Internet/Intranet.
  • Above average communication skills.
  • Ability to manage varied workloads.
