Business Analyst Position

This is a Business Analyst role that requires analyzing startup databases and financial metrics to uncover early-stage investment opportunities.

  • Automating routine data tasks using Excel, SQL, or lightweight scripting to streamline processes.
  • Assisting in preparing reports, visuals, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting due diligence processes with data summaries and benchmarking to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborating with associates and partners to deliver data-informed recommendations and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field and 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or consulting. Prior experience in startups or venture capital firms is strongly preferred; a demonstrated interest is a plus. The candidate must possess advanced Excel skills, proficiency in Python or R, and SQL for querying structured datasets. Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is also desired.
