Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator Job Description

This role involves working closely with customers and logistics partners to coordinate deliveries efficiently, while maintaining a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service.

  • Coordinate order confirmations and updates on delivery or pick-up expectations with customers.
  • Liaise with customers to provide clear, timely updates on furniture delivery timeframes.
  • Manage weekly logistics spreadsheets for interstate deliveries.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure efficient and accurate dispatch of orders.
  • Assist with pre-orders by tracking expected arrival times and scheduling deliveries accordingly.
  • Monitor and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Send order confirmation emails to customers outlining delivery or pick-up expectations.
  2. Provide regular updates on delivery status and timelines to customers.
  3. Ensure that all logistics-related tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Support the day-to-day management of furniture deliveries, including coordinating with warehouse and logistics partners.
  5. Track and monitor delivery schedules, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or e-commerce operations is preferred.
  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for clear and professional customer emails.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
