
Financial Administrator for Real Estate Portfolios

A highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator is needed to manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and support property management operations. Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties using industry-leading software.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor bills and tenant payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, trust accounts, and credit card statements monthly.
- Prepare owner statements, financial reports, and draw schedules.
- Monitor and manage tenant ledgers, security deposits, and lease-related transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and real estate-specific accounting standards.
- Collaborate with property managers to resolve discrepancies and support audits.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end financial preparations.
- Handle tax documentation and regulatory filings as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting and a proactive approach to financial accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate.
- Proven expertise in industry-standard software such as AppFolio and QuickBooks.
- Experience managing financials for multiple properties or portfolios.
