Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Installation Specialist to support the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and Access Control Systems (ACS).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and connect field devices for FDAS, BMS, and ACS systems.
  • Verify connectivity, voltage, and signal integrity using multimeters and other test tools.
  • Identify and resolve issues such as wiring faults, incorrect terminations, or communication failures.
  • Read and interpret datasheets, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings to validate installations.
  • Perform functional tests and support commissioning activities on-site.
  • Coordinate with project and engineering teams to troubleshoot and document issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of fieldwork, test results, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project quality expectations.

Requirements

Work Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years' field experience with FDAS, BMS, and/or ACS installations and support.
  • Proficient in using test meters, diagnostic tools, and hand tools provided for fieldwork.
  • Solid understanding of electrical testing (voltage, continuity, signal).
  • Familiarity with communication protocols like ethernet, Modbus, BACnet, and RS485.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, wiring schematics, and manufacturer datasheets.
  • Strong fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills.
