Home Care Scheduler Role

Imagine being the person who keeps everything running behind the scenes in a fast-moving setting. You'll create order, coordinate caregiver schedules, and act as a quiet, reliable support for caregivers and clients, ensuring consistent, compassionate care for seniors in their homes.

The Responsibilities

You'll manage caregiver schedules, communicate changes, and keep both sides informed and supported, even when things get hectic. As a Home Care Scheduler, you'll be assigned to a client, working closely with their operations team.

  • Build and maintain up-to-date caregiver schedules across multiple counties
  • Respond quickly when a shift is canceled or a caregiver doesn't clock in
  • Answer calls from clients and caregivers using VoIP systems
  • Update records and case notes in software (training provided)
  • Collaborate with the operations team to flag issues and maintain staffing smoothness
  • Conduct regular check-ins and evaluations with caregivers
  • Generate weekly reports and keep leadership informed
