Senior Construction Project Manager Job Description

This senior-level position involves overseeing and coordinating construction activities across various projects nationwide.

The role requires effective project delivery, upholding quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards. Working closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve bottlenecks and mitigate risks is essential.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing construction schedules, resource plans, and procurement strategies, establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for construction processes and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction methodologies, cost control, contract management, and safety regulations, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (licensed Civil Engineer preferred).
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in construction operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple, simultaneous mid- to large-scale projects.

The successful candidate will lead cultural transformation, foster proactive problem-solving, instill discipline, and mentor teams for greater ownership. They will also introduce tools and systems to streamline communication, reduce double-handling, and enhance reporting efficiency.
