Service Engineer

The Service Engineer will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

  • Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to end-users, resolving technical issues related to PC hardware and software, printers, scanners, modems, USB devices, projectors, and other computer-related peripherals.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical problems quickly and efficiently, escalating complex issues to the proper technology group as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of assets, licenses, and monitoring systems, ensuring that all equipment is properly received, stored, deployed, repaired, and decommissioned or disposed of.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to user inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years of experience in supporting end-user technical concerns, with a strong understanding of PC hardware and software, network protocols, and inventory management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and email systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
