Job Description

The Director of Finance oversees the overall financial management of the hotel. This includes financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. They develop and maintain internal accounting control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards.

This role is responsible for managing daily operations of the Finance and Purchasing departments. The Director serves as primary legislative liaison for company financial issues and conducts regular checks on purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing and food preparation procedures.

A key aspect of this job is ensuring accurate recording and handling of internal and external expenditures with high integrity and honesty. The Director also holds monthly departmental meetings to provide information, obtain feedback and address issues.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position.
  • A high degree of professionalism with strong business acumen.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and financial regulation standards.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
