
Audit and Assurance Leadership Position

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team of audit and assurance professionals. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing engagement teams to perform various assurance and compliance work for a portfolio of diversified clients across different industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engagement teams to deliver high-quality services and solutions to clients.
- Guide and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Review and approve the work of team members to ensure it meets our quality standards.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Assist Partners in planning work and change management.
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or professional accounting qualification.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant audit experience in a professional practice.
- Preferably a member of MIA/MICPA/ACCA/ICAEW/CPA Australia or equivalent.
- Good communication and people management skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
