Finance Leadership Opportunity

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee global customer invoicing and payment cycles to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Lead the execution of general ledger journals, payables transactions, receivables transactions, fixed asset transactions, and banking/treasury transactions.
  • Manage global actuals to budget and provide variance analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement financial planning and analysis software and processes.
  • Develop and execute annual budgets, as well as periodic financial re-forecasting processes.
  • Ensure completion of relevant people management documentation, including performance reviews and coaching documents.
  • Prepare and present consolidated P&L reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Champion company core values and programs to engage and motivate employees.
  • Other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Education:
  • University degree in accounting or related field, with professional certification (e.g., CGA, CMA, CPA, CA).
  • On-going professional development courses an asset.
Experience
  • Strong understanding of core accounting concepts and financial analysis techniques.
  • Proven experience in managing finance teams and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Minimum 5 years of finance leadership experience, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Proficiency in financial planning and analysis software, including Workday and Adaptive Planning.
  • Experience working with financial data visualization tools and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
