Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Representative to join our merchant services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in cold calling.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, introducing our merchant services, and scheduling qualified appointments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make outbound calls to potential clients to introduce merchant services and payment solutions.
  • Engage prospects in professional conversations to understand their business needs.
  • Effectively handle objections and provide clear, persuasive responses.
  • Set appointments for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Achieve or exceed daily/weekly calling and appointment-setting targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in cold calling, preferably in merchant services, payments, or financial services.
  • Strong sales and persuasion skills with the ability to handle objections confidently.
  • Fluent in English with a neutral or professional accent.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
