Electrical Engineering Design Leadership Role

A top residential developer is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of electrical designs across its projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. They will have experience in electrical design or design management roles and be proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct design reviews of electrical works to ensure alignment with project goals and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Assist the Engineering Design Manager in evaluating electrical engineering designs submitted by external consultants and integrating stakeholder feedback.
  • Participate in meetings to identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures.
  • Monitor and follow up on deliverables from external design consultants to ensure timely and complete submissions.
  • Review electrical systems, layouts, drawings, and specifications at each stage of the design process to ensure quality and legal compliance.
  • Support the Engineering Design Manager in conducting annual MEPF audits of properties, focusing on electrical systems.
  • Document design review results and communicate action items to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Valid PRC license.
  • At least 5 years of experience in property development, real estate, construction, or consulting.
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical design or design management roles.
