Job Title:

Assistant Structural Design Manager

Job Description:

This role is responsible for the conduction of design reviews of Civil and Structural Engineering Works to ensure that the design meets all applicable requirements. The results of the design reviews should be documented and action items communicated to stakeholders and interested parties.

The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Design Manager and assist in reviewing MEPFS & CS coming from external design consultants. They will also participate in meetings and discussions identifying potential value engineering and cost saving items prior to implementation of the projects.

Other responsibilities include assisting in reviewing and evaluating design parameters proposed by external design consultants, monitoring timelines of deliverables, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Graduate of Civil Engineering (for Civil & Structural Design Assistant Manager), Electrical Engineering (for Electrical Design Assistant Manager), Sanitary Engineering (for Plumbing & Sanitary Design Assistant Manager) and Mechanical Engineering (for Mechanical & Fire Protection Design Assistant Manager)
  2. Board exam passer with a valid PRC license
  3. Preferably with at least three (3) years of extensive work experience as Design Assistant Manager from a property developer, real estate, contractor or consulting firm
  4. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  5. Good leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
