The role of Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, overseeing the accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations. This leader will be responsible for guiding a team of four offshore staff in handling Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Banking functions.

">Key Responsibilities
  1. Accounts Receivable: Conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with direct debit processes, partner with the AR Officer in chasing outstanding debts, accurately raise debtor invoices, and present debtors ageing monthly to the Group CFO.
  2. Accounts Payable: Review and oversee AP processes from invoice approval to payment execution, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls, and ensure accurate and timely supplier onboarding.
  3. Expense and Credit Card Management: Conduct thorough auditing on expense claims and transactions, develop spend reports, and review and follow up on overdue/uncoded expenses.
  4. Daily Cash & Bank Reconciliation Support: Support daily cash and bank reconciliation activities and provide overall support in closing out relevant modules each month.
  5. End of Month (EOM) & Reporting Support: Conduct key supplier statement reconciliations for EOM close and aid in compiling EOM reports and ad hoc deliverables.
  6. Oracle ERP System Administration: Act as the key contact for Oracle ERP queries and conduct effective training in purchase requisition and supplier onboarding processes.
  7. Other: Provide ad-hoc support on Finance projects and develop effective partnerships with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in leading Accounts Payable and Receivable departments
  • Oracle ERP experience is highly regarded
  • Relevant knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Detailed understanding of software packages; Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Strong understanding of office administration and general bookkeeping practices and procedures
