Financial Operations Manager Job Description

As a Financial Operations Manager, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our company's financial processes. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage payroll and final pay processes.

This involves ensuring compliance with statutory and government requirements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate accounting information and practices. You will also be responsible for processing payroll, including final pay, 13th month, and tax annualization.

In addition, you will be expected to address employee pay-related concerns, record payroll entries and accruals in the accounting system, and provide advice on current knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to payroll.

You will also prepare BIR 2316 and support internal and external audit activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll and final pay processes
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and government requirements
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate accounting information and practices
  • Process payroll, including final pay, 13th month, and tax annualization
  • Address employee pay-related concerns
  • Record payroll entries and accruals in the accounting system
  • Prepare BIR 2316
  • Support internal and external audit activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree related to Accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office / intermediate to expert MS Excel skills
  • Good and effective communication skills
  • Strong background in Accounting and Payroll Processing
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Experience in Sprout or any payroll/accounting tools is an advantage
  • Having experience in retirement calculations is an advantage
