Key Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and organized Operations & Property Management Professional to oversee the daily operations of our short-term rental properties. This role combines hands-on property management, guest services, administrative coordination, and light marketing/design.

  • Oversee day-to-day management of short-term rental properties, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient back-office operations.
  • Schedule and manage cleaners, maintenance staff, and contractors, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to high standards.
  • Conduct quality checks (virtually or on-site) to guarantee property readiness, comfort, and cleanliness.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and reviews across multiple platforms, maintaining a positive online reputation.
  • Evaluate and maintain compliance with local regulations regarding short-term rentals.
Operational Systems & Financial Oversight

The ideal candidate will be proficient in using specialized software like OwnerRez to manage bookings, calendars, messaging automations, and guest records, as well as QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and reporting.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, tracking expenses, generating reports, and supporting end-of-year documentation.
  • Support the onboarding of new properties, including listing setup, documentation, and vendor coordination.
Marketing & Design Support

This position also involves providing design support and assistance in optimizing listing content, descriptions, and photography to enhance brand visibility and appeal.

  • Design simple marketing assets and branded guest materials using tools like Canva, promoting a cohesive look and feel.
  • Help implement upselling strategies, guest experience enhancements, or promotions to drive revenue growth.
Administrative & Process Management

Able to maintain SOPs for operations, cleaning, maintenance, and guest communication, as well as track key performance metrics (occupancy, RevPAR, guest reviews, etc.).

  • Coordinate calendar availability and blackout dates across platforms, ensuring seamless scheduling and minimizing conflicts.
  • Requirements include experience with QuickBooks, Ownerrez, Airbnb/VRBO, design skills, and a focus on delivering exceptional results.
