Strategic Workday Benefits Consultant

With years of experience in all phases of Workday's deployment life cycle, we develop maintainable solutions and provide support for integration testing and updates for new Workday releases.

As an experienced Workday Certified Benefits Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic support for our clients' Workday technology by delivering innovative ideas and effective solutions. Foster the development of other consultants by sharing expertise.

This role can be performed remotely to meet the required responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in the Workday HCM product suite with deep experience in U.S. Benefits.
  • Lead tasks such as gathering and documenting client business requirements, designing and configuring the Workday solution, demonstrating configurations through prototype systems, assisting in testing the Workday solution, completing knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Work with confidential data conversion teams to convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Collaborate with integration consulting teams to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants, serve as a professional role model, and coach others on product knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and work synergistically on team-based projects.
  • Foster clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices.
  • Ensure ongoing satisfaction, making us a referenceable and referable once in production.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers.
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications.
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Workday Benefits Certification.
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing HCM/Benefits Solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company.
  • Experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Functional experience in one or more areas: HCM/Benefits.
  • Passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to manage against timelines and goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly.
