Expert Tax Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations and financial management principles.

The role involves preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, PAYG, FBT and Payroll Tax returns in compliance with Australian taxation legislation. You will also be responsible for managing end-to-end preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, conducting in-depth financial analysis and forecasting to support internal decision-making and client advisory.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in public practice or corporate accounting environment in Australia.
  • Advanced knowledge of Australian taxation laws and statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in Xero with certification highly regarded.
  • Strong capabilities in Excel including data modeling, dashboards, pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.
