Job Overview

This role is a crucial part of our healthcare support system, focusing on streamlining operations and enhancing patient care.

  • Manage patient scheduling and confirmations to minimize no-shows
  • Process patient documents and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Handle billing inquiries and facilitate insurance verification
  • Provide timely communication with patients addressing their questions and needs
  • Support healthcare providers with administrative tasks including document management and report generation
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations safeguarding patient information
  • Conduct research and compile information as requested by healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate effectively with a team to deliver high-quality services
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a Medical Virtual Assistant or similar administrative role in healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in electronic health records EHR and medical billing software
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
  • Preferred experience with virtual communication tools and project management software

This position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong background in healthcare administration able to perform a variety of tasks remotely.
