The Empire Shared Services Phils. Inc is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to fill the role of Supervisor for Engineering & Technical Service (Electrical Engineering).

Job Description

As a leader in our multidisciplinary team of hardware developers, you will provide support to management in directly supervising the daily operations of the R&D Hardware and Technical Service within the Electrical Engineering Team.

This involves collaborating with management to attain company objectives concerning quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement. You will also closely coordinate with fellow designers to create alternatives and options for advancing projects and products.

You will assume responsibility for tasks such as engineering documentation, estimation, and process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive design data concepts, estimate budget, make activity plans and schedule. Disseminate tasks to team members.
  • Monitor the progress, status, and potential issues of each project.
  • Review electrical designs and analyze potential design concerns and discuss with team for possible countermeasures.
  • Check necessary engineering documents such as electrical and electronic specifications, block and wiring diagram, harness drawings and routing.
  • Monitor and validate the electrical design from trial up to mass production process.
  • Facilitate Design Change Concept for quality improvement and VAVE activities.
  • Provide technical support for any electrical related concern during trial and mass production.
  • Train and mentor new hires and continually develop the skills of existing team members.
  • Regularly evaluate team members and identify areas of improvement.
  • Support in design process on certain tasks to achieve project goals.

Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate superior, as they relate to the job title and description, on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related Engineering field. Licensed or unlicensed candidates are welcome to apply.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role in the gaming industry is required. Strong leadership and people management skills are essential.

You should possess strong organizational and project management skills, including effective planning, scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also required.

Proficiency in Harness Design Software, VISIO or equivalent design-related software is a must. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Power Point, is also required.

You should have in-depth knowledge about electrical and electronic devices specifications and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with EMI/EMC, Safety and Quality Standards is also preferred.

Critical thinking, creativity, and innovation are essential qualities for this role. Adaptability and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are also required.

Resourcefulness, dependability, and excellent work ethics are expected. Trustworthiness and outstanding faculty in leading a team are also highly valued.
