Job Overview:

The Department Head for Integrated Waste Management Facilities oversees daily operations and long-term strategies for various IWMF projects and sub-departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational Efficiency:

    • Drive optimal performance at all IWMF sites and sub-departments.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize resource allocation, meet project deadlines, reduce operational expenses, and achieve company-aligned outcomes.

  • Budget Planning & Control:

    • Evaluate and validate budget requests from reporting units to ensure alignment with strategic and operational priorities.
    • Sustain cost control measures while maintaining productivity and long-term sustainability.

  • Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration:

    • Organize regular performance review meetings and emergency coordination sessions with IWMF teams.
    • Foster interdepartmental collaboration to drive accountability, resolve operational concerns, and ensure timely delivery of results.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of operational documents.
    • Ensure full compliance with ISO, OSH, and SOX standards and maintain audit readiness at all times.

  • Performance Evaluation:

    • Monitor real-time department performance and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
    • Prepare and submit weekly performance reports to leadership while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in waste management, logistics, utilities, or a related industry.
  • Strong background in operations, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-site operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO, OSH, SOX, and other relevant standards is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools; SAP knowledge is a plus.
