This role involves providing first-level technical assistance to customers, catering inquiries related to hardware, software applications and operating systems. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the daily workload through an incident tracking system and recording problem resolution into a knowledge management system.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat
- Manage and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Document and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolutions
- Collaborate with field and divisional groups to create process documentation and participate in continuous improvement work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Mechatronics or other Engineering related fields with minimum 1-year technical experience
- Previous experience in a customer-service role is a plus
- Knowledge and comprehension of hardware systems
- Ability to use MS Office Word, Excel
- Possess strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to work on shifting schedule, including night shift
