Career Opportunity: Financial Operations Specialist

The role of a Financial Operations Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations across multiple countries within the HKASEAN region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and validate accounts payable invoices, resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate posting in Oracle.
- Prepare quarterly GST reports for applicable jurisdictions.
- Reconcile bank statements weekly against general ledger entries.
- Maintain accounting databases, including data entry and backup documentation.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries related to accounts payable adjustments.
- Manage monthly revaluation of foreign vendor balances and cash positions.
- Prepare and maintain weekly funding requirement schedules.
- Assist in statutory audits for HKASEAN entities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, or Business Management.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, with solid exposure to accounts payable and general ledger.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and cycles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player.
