Financial Operations Assistant Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Operations Assistant to support our team's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Process invoices, refunds, credits, and assist with collections
  • Maintain and organize financial records, documentation, and compliance
  • Investigate and resolve finance-related support issues
  • Support ad-hoc financial operations tasks and data entry
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth financial workflows and processes
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Highly organized, dependable, and efficient with solid time management skills
  • Proactive problem-solver who can work independently without frequent escalation
  • Comfortable working with communication tools like Slack and Gmail
  • Must have worked on flexible schedules including evening shifts (various time zones)
  • Ability to work full-time during any US time zone (EST/CST preferred)
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Familiarity with billing platforms (Chargebee, Stripe, Recurly, etc.)
  • Background in startups, SMEs, freelancing, or remote admin work
  • CPA certification (preferred but not required)
