Job Title: Senior Financial Operations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Senior Financial Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable process in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoicing and Credit Notes: Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, including volume-based billing metrics. Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with company policies.
  • AR Collections: Record and reconcile incoming customer payments on a timely basis. Review customer agreements and ensure billing schedules align with contract terms.
  • Revenue Recognition: Support revenue recognition reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly analyze AR aging reports to proactively address collection risks. Prepare reports related to AR, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in designing and maintaining internal processes related to billing, cash collection, and bad debt tracking.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company, with advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel. They will also have strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing best practices, as well as excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
