Customer Renewals Sales Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and driven Customer Renewals Sales Specialist to play a key role in our sales team. This position involves driving industry-leading renewal rates, managing a high volume of renewals with frequent calls and emails daily.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth through successful customer relationships by identifying opportunities and closing deals efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop strong connections with key accounts, customer representatives, and executive sponsors within our existing customer base.
  • Identify customer needs, overcome obstacles, and demonstrate expert account management and commercial capabilities to achieve timely renewals.
  • Partner with the customer success and account teams to maximize account growth potential by actively participating in account activities and identifying expansion and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to reduce churn across our signed customer base.
  • Focus on key customer segments, prioritizing responsibilities and balancing daily activity and velocity sales.
  • Work with customers to resolve issues hindering ongoing business relationships.
  • Ensure accurate customer records, including licenses, software expiration dates, shipping addresses, and updated contact information.
  • Collaborate with various departments to advocate for customers and resolve issues, including collections, legal requirements, pilot programs, and escalation to support & engineering.
  • Negotiate and close sales with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Raise concerns and trends identified in your customer segment for analysis and resolution.
  • Advocate for customers to ensure optimal experiences.
  • Articulate value and identify upsell opportunities through thorough product knowledge.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in technical sales roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to build trust both internally and externally.
  • Capacity to navigate complex situations and provide clarity.
  • Previous experience with CRM - NetSuite or Salesforce; Tableau is advantageous.
