Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Associate to join its team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ensuring adherence to global business standards and regulatory frameworks.

The Compliance Associate will play a key role in assisting organizations across various regulated industries in meeting compliance obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in anti-money laundering (AML) audits and consulting engagements, assessing compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Validating risk models, ensuring accuracy, and effectiveness in managing financial and operational risks.
  • Conducting data privacy audits and providing consulting services to help organizations comply with data protection regulations.
  • Supporting audit engagements, ensuring internal controls are in place and functioning as intended.
  • Reviewing and evaluating internal control systems and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Analyzing financial and operational data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable insights for clients.
  • Collaborating on risk management projects, assisting clients in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in their operations.
  • Contributing to regulatory compliance initiatives by staying up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry best practices related to audit and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
