Senior Compliance Associate

Job Description:

The role of Senior Compliance Associate involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation and maintenance of a robust compliance framework. The position requires a deep understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

  1. Conduct thorough reviews of subscription documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness in line with regulatory requirements.
  2. Verify KYC/AML supporting documents for consistency and relevance, utilizing knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Establish effective communication channels with clients and investors to address missing subscription information in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborate with various teams, including fund administration and tax, on investor-related matters.
  5. Maintain and review the OFAC search database to identify potential risks.
  6. Prepare and distribute investor capital statements, capital call letters, contribution, distribution, and redemption confirmation letters.
  7. Perform redemption confirmation calls with investors to ensure seamless transactions.
Requirements:

Key Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  2. More than a year of experience in investor relations or a related field.
  3. Knowledge of the alternative investment industry, particularly in investor relations.
  4. AML/KYC compliance knowledge for the United States and/or Cayman Islands is preferred but not required.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
