System Architect

This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to guide a small yet rapidly scaling engineering team.

As a senior system architect, you will work across front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and deployment, driving architectural decisions, optimizing existing systems, and leading the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the technical architecture for our AI agent platform.
  • Mentor and guide a small team of engineers initially 2-3 members, scaling up to 10 or more.
  • Collaborate with founders, product, and engineering teams to align architecture with business objectives.
Hands-On Development
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable front-end and back-end systems.
  • Code and implement solutions using Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios APIs.
  • Develop automation workflows using N8N and integrate vector stores/databases.
Infrastructure & Deployment
  • Manage and optimize deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and hypervisors.
  • Oversee Linux-based development environments, including scripting, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Implement and maintain secure local and remote deployments with Cloudflare for instance management.
Security & Networking
  • Architect and secure local networks and deployment environments.
  • Contribute to enterprise-grade security discussions as the company scales to larger customers.
  • Work on multiple projects balancing optimization of existing systems with rollout of new features.
  • Utilize Git versioning and project management tools to ensure clean workflows, visibility, and collaboration.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration e.g., N8N, JSON, vector stores, databases.
  • Advanced experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, Axios API.
  • Strong infrastructure background with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux-based development.
  • Hands-on experience with local networks, system security, and architecture design.
  • Experience managing remote deployments and instances Cloudflare preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Git versioning and modern project management practices.
  • Ability to balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership in a startup environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Enterprise-grade security architecture experience.
  • Familiarity with large language models LLMs and AI agent frameworks.

Senior System Architects are responsible for defining and leading the technical architecture for our AI agent platform. They will mentor and guide a small team of engineers, collaborate with founders and product teams, and drive architectural decisions to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Prior experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios API is required. Strong infrastructure background, Linux-based development, and Git versioning skills are also essential. Enterprise-grade security architecture experience and familiarity with large language models LLMs and AI agent frameworks are nice to have.
