Job Title: Financial Leadership Role

A seasoned accounting professional is required to oversee the financial management and planning of a company.

  • Leading the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Reviewing final profit & loss (P&L) statements and approving journal entries prepared by staff.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the balance sheet workbook, including spot-checking source document filing.
  • Reviewing and updating financial notes, charts, graphs, and footnotes to ensure alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and executive summaries.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, fluency in English, and strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Advanced Excel skills. They should be able to work independently while collaborating with a remote team and have a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset.

Key responsibilities include:

Core Responsibilities

Leading the month-end close process, ensuring adherence to the timeline and checklist.

Reviewing final profit & loss (P&L) scrub and approving journal entries prepared by staff.

Ensuring the accuracy of the balance sheet workbook, including spot-checking source document filing.

Reviewing and updating financial notes, charts, graphs, and footnotes to ensure alignment with KPIs and executive summaries.

Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cash Flow Management

The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, as well as tax compliance and regulatory filings. They will work closely with departments including property management, acquisitions, and finance to ensure effective financial operations and decision-making.
