Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to handle full-cycle bookkeeping and provide valuable insights.

This position involves managing day-to-day record keeping for management reporting and analytical reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and/or invoicing.

  • Prepare client monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, month-end close processes, journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and financial reporting.

You will act as our firm's in-house expert on the internal processes of designated clients, documenting what is learned, and assisting in the development of controls and improvements.

Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with team members, vendors, and third parties.

Complete administrative or ad-hoc work to support the firm or team members.

Solve problems as they arise and escalate as necessary.

Other duties as needed to meet client and firm needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A graduate degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with full cycle bookkeeping and cloud-based bookkeeping software (QBO, XERO, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CRA requirements and filings (HST, WSIB, EHT) is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-player attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable, able to multitask and prioritize in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • Motivated self-starter eager to take responsibility.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to meet commitments and set clear objectives.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
