Job Description:

The primary function of a Contracts Engineer is to prepare, review, and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure contract terms, scope coverage, and inclusions/exclusions comply with company policies.
  • Verify material quantities and scope coverage against project requirements to prevent discrepancies.
  • Utilize Bluebeam to review drawings, markups, and perform takeoffs as necessary.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or gaps in contractor submissions.
  • Compare contractor quotes and scopes for accurate evaluation.
  • Develop recommendations for contractor selection based on price, scope, and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contractor pricing and project-related documentation.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to the Construction Manager on contract status and variations.
