Key Responsibilities

The Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Manager is accountable for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the industry. This encompasses developing and implementing regulatory strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and verifying that products and processes adhere to relevant regulatory guidelines.

This role involves overseeing the development of new tools, standards, and approaches to assess the safety, efficacy, quality, and performance of all products. Additionally, it entails conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to manage regulatory risks.

The Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Manager will review and approve product labeling, promotional materials, and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. They will also provide regulatory guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including product development teams, to ensure that regulatory requirements are incorporated into the development process.

This position requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to stay up-to-date on changing regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and the ability to apply regulatory requirements to quality management processes.
Educational Background and Work Experience

A Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, engineering, or related field is required. A Master's degree is advantageous. A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience as a Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Manager in the food manufacturing industry is necessary.
