Job Overview

Observability and Reliability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead our system uptime initiative. The ideal candidate will design and implement world-class observability, manage incident response, and drive reliability across our platform.

Job Summary

This role involves taking ownership of monitoring, alerting, and incident management for production systems. You will work on designing dashboards, building alerting pipelines, and using automation to reduce toil while ensuring system uptime.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement monitoring tools and logging solutions.
  • Build alerting pipelines and automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance system reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or IT Operations roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with monitoring, scripting, and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Above and Beyond

  • Experience working in high-uptime environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of advanced reliability engineering practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with low-code automation tools can be beneficial.
