Workforce Manager Job Description

The Workforce Manager is a critical role in our organization, responsible for overseeing workforce planning, managing absenteeism and attrition, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations and/or Chief Operating Officer.
  • Overseeing workforce planning using forecast models to ensure accurate staffing levels.
  • Monitoring and managing absenteeism and attrition on a daily basis to minimize its impact on business operations.
  • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Training teams to align workforce strategies with business goals.
  • Utilizing Lever, MySQL, and other tools to match idle talent with active opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
  • Managing offboarding processes and tracking account churn to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining a centralized database of all active employees to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Providing daily workforce health updates and coordinating staffing needs to ensure seamless business operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in workforce management with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in workforce tools and data management systems, including Lever and MySQL.
  • Able to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
