Job Title: Supply Planning Lead

Supply Planning Overview

The Supply Planning Lead will be responsible for leading the Supply Planning team in workforce allocation and capacity management across multiple programs/accounts. This involves spearheading complex operations, monitoring capacity utilization, identifying gaps, and recommending adjustments to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The role requires close partnership with Operations to understand staffing requirements and ensure optimal full-time equivalent (FTE) coverage. The Supply Planning Lead will track and record allocation of programs across footprint ensuring end-to-end system coordination.

Additionally, this position involves providing timely responses to supply inquiries and proactively creating opportunities for capacity creation.

Strategic Planning and Process Improvement

The Supply Planning Lead will develop short-term and long-term supply planning strategies aligned with business growth and operational efficiency. This includes analyzing trends in absenteeism and creating mitigation strategies to maintain processes promoting responsible utilization of our footprint.

This role also entails leading the implementation of data-driven strategies balancing the priorities and timelines of multiple business units. Furthermore, the Supply Planning Lead will build and maintain tools to enable allocation of projected demand, supply and other factors influencing utilization of capacity and physical footprint and requirements.

People Management

The Supply Planning Lead will lead, coach, and develop Supply Planning Specialists/Analysts to deliver accurate, timely workforce plans. This involves setting performance goals, providing feedback, and conducting reviews. Additionally, this role requires building a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting

The Supply Planning Lead will coordinate with clients to plan potential new buildouts and act as the primary contact for capacity and resource allocation discussions with account/program leaders. This role also involves preparing and presenting workforce planning reports and recommendations to senior leadership and proactively escalating risks to capacity plans and proposing corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's Degree preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, preferably in technology industry
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including managing leaders, and a strong desire to develop team members
  • Excited to be part of a global operations teams, design effective business operations, tackle complex problems, and develop individual team members
