Support Expertise Wanted

The role of Support Engineer plays a crucial part in supporting customers through online platforms like the Sophos Community, Reddit, and YouTube. This involves engaging with customers, producing valuable self-service support content, and conveying the company's values and personality through online communications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Representing Sophos as an Ambassador to build and develop the Sophos Community
  • Deflecting support cases by resolving customer queries on online platforms
  • Monitoring and expediting the escalation of user issues reported online
  • Amplying urgent Sophos Support product advisories and latest version releases through social media
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT security concepts
  • Advanced computer skills including ActiveDirectory, SQL, Networking, Microsoft Exchange, VMWare, Linux/Unix, Mac, Microsoft Windows, WindowsServer Administration
  • Thorough knowledge of Security, Cloud, Data protection, Encryption, Malware, Spyware, Cyber Security, Firewalls, Antivirus, and Disaster Recovery
