Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines and data warehousing solutions using GCP, Python, Fast API & Pydantic.

  • Designing and developing server-side components of applications.
  • Supporting system design, development, and maintenance.
  • Defining and implementing structured practices for source code management, building, and deployment.
  • Designing and implementing data storage solutions.
  • Implementing security and data protection measures.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications.
  • Ongoing optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintaining version control and build processes.
  • Collaborating with client teams and Delivery Architects in project execution.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects with a talented team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering at a Senior Data Engineer level in an enterprise environment, as well as knowledge of modern web services, testing methodologies, tools, and practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience with designing and developing real-world solutions and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of code development in Python and SQL.
  • Production experience with Snowflake platforms.
  • Knowledge of ELT/ETL pipelines and toolchains.
  • Understanding of Relational and Document data stores.
  • Modern testing methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Versioning control tools including Git.
  • Tools such as AWS serverless compute, Apigee, CloudRun and containerisation.
  • Security and performance considerations.
  • Architectural and design patterns in one or more of AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Deployment tools and systems integration.
