
IT Support Specialist

A senior-level help desk specialist is sought to support the Department of Defense at various international locations. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, software applications, and advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily checks on IT services to ensure mission-critical operations are running smoothly.
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues.
- Manage help desk tickets and prioritize them based on customer expectations and guidance.
- Lead technology assignments and serve as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- US citizenship and current Top-Secret Clearance with eligibility for SCI.
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field and at least five years of relevant work experience.
- Proven problem-solving abilities in a technical support role, with a focus on Level 3 responsibilities.
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Azure certifications, and ITIL v3/v4 Intermediate or higher.
