Electrical Maintenance Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance activities on electrical systems, controllers, and equipment to ensure efficient operation and prolonged service life.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Additional Tasks:

  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety.
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors and other equipment.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment is properly maintained and functioning at optimal levels.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering or BS Electronics & Communications Engineering with strong knowledge of instrumentation technology, electrical/electronics circuit design, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • At least three (3) years of work experience in related field with proficiency in panel board and electronic device analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of farm technology and electrical systems.
