Job Description

The Farm Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the design, installation and implementation of maintenance programs of all Swine and Poultry Farm facilities, systems and equipment by formulating and implementing preventive, corrective and condition based maintenance programs to ensure reliable, maximum efficiency and safe operation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management System
  Note: Implement and optimize the Enterprise Asset Management System (Maximo); regular data review and technical analysis to improve maintenance management.
  • Plan, schedule and supervise repair and maintenance of farm facilities, systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards, and completion on time with safety and quality.
  • Submit priority works for action after discussion with immediate superior or process owners.
  • Review equipment and system trouble reports; perform root cause analysis of downtime or failures.
  • Identify and prioritize causes of failures in next maintenance scheduling.
  • Review, recommend and implement cost-effective maintenance programs to prevent recurrence of problems; base on root causes, condition monitoring and time-based tasks.
  • Establish and implement a maintenance monitoring plan for critical and non-critical equipment.
  • Analyze operating data and forward recommendations to ensure safe and cost-efficient operations.
  • Assign and monitor progress of work orders to team members and contractors, ensuring lead times, specifications and workmanship standards.
  • Coordinate with Farm Maintenance Planners and Material Analysts to maintain an efficient spare parts requisition system.
  • Maintain housekeeping programs to ensure compliance with 5S and company/government regulations.
    • Utilities and Supplies Management
    • Monitor power and water consumption and other relevant parameters for operation efficiency and financial analysis.
    • Recommend policies to promote utilities conservation; prepare regular reports on utilities consumption, equipment downtime, maintenance personnel hours, and work orders.
    • Provide root cause analysis and corrective/preventive measures for non-conforming parameters.
      • Continuous Improvement Projects
      • Conduct feasibility studies on alterations or system improvements to optimize safety and efficiency; forward recommendations for approval.
      • Design and estimate costs for improvement projects consistent with standards; obtain evaluation and approval from process owners.
      • Recommend and implement company policies and guidelines to enhance safety and accident prevention, including risk mitigation for farm facilities.
        • People Development
        • Supervise, monitor and evaluate the performance of direct subordinates; develop Individual Development Plans (IDP) and provide growth interventions. Monitor third-party manpower services in the Central Maintenance department.
          • Other Tasks
          • Attend emergency/special calls during night shift as needed; participate in facility improvement projects; perform related work as assigned by the supervisor; participate in programs across quality, safety, sustainability, CSR, risk management, etc.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: At least 5 years experience as a maintenance planner or similar function
• Licenses: Licensed Electrical Engineer
