Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of software testing best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Automated Test Scripts: Ensure the quality and reliability of software products by creating and executing automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Design and Implement Test Plans: Develop test plans, test cases, and test suites to validate software functionality.
  • Utilize Defect Tracking Tools: Report and track issues using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Participate in CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate testing suites into continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Conduct API Testing: Verify backend functionalities using tools like Karate.
  • Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Adapt automated test scripts to changes in software features.
  • Analyze Test Results: Provide feedback to stakeholders on test results, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Contribute to Improving Testing Processes: Implement best practices and improve testing processes.
  • Perform Regression, Smoke, and Exploratory Testing: Test across different environments and browsers.
  • Support UAT and Production Release Cycles: Ensure seamless deployment and minimal defects.
  • Document Test Evidence: Maintain traceability to requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience as a QA Automation Engineer: Demonstrate proficiency in automation testing.
  • Strong Understanding of Software Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with tools, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Test Plan Development and Execution: Create, execute, and report test cases.
  • Defect Tracking and Management: Use tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Excellent Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good Communication Skills: Collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Organizational and Time Management Abilities: Prioritize tasks effectively.
  • ISTQB or Similar Certification: Showcase commitment to quality assurance standards.
  • Automation Scripting and API Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, Selenium, and Karate.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java-Based Frameworks: Hands-on experience with frameworks.
  • Affinity for Agile Environments: Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  • CI/CD Integration and GitLab/Jenkins: Familiarity with integration and version control.
  • Background in Testing Web and Mobile Applications: Experienced in testing Android and iOS applications.
