Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical troubleshooting, feature explanation, and best practice guidance for our product.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing support to customers, partners, and colleagues. You must be able to operate efficiently, maintain composure, exhibit professionalism, understand our services and team needs, and deliver the highest level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware and Software Support: Installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems.
  • Ticket Resolution: Resolves tickets representing staff-generated technical requests or problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues to maintain productivity.
  • System Maintenance: Maintains system functionality by testing computer components.
  • Network Design and Implementation: Helps design and implement networks.
  • User Support: Consults with users to determine appropriate hardware and software needs and assists in placing orders.
  • Technical Application Evaluation: Maximizes computer systems capabilities by studying technical applications and making recommendations.
  • Compatibility Testing: Tests compatibility of new programs with existing ones.
  • Purchasing Evaluation: Gathers data to identify and evaluate technical purchasing options.
  • Software Evaluation and Installation: Confirms program objectives and specifications by testing new programs, comparing them with established standards, and making modifications.
  • Evaluation and Vendor Coordination: Evaluates vendor-supplied software by studying user objectives and testing software compatibility with existing hardware and programs.
  • Training and Documentation: Installs software and necessary applications for workflow, trains users on new software, and documents hardware and software updates.
  • Performance Tuning: Carries out software, network, and database performance tuning.
  • Professional Development: Keeps up to date on technical advancements by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
