Job Overview

The position of Financial Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Global Controller, overseeing daily operations of the financial accounting team. This role requires superior communication skills, strong accounting knowledge, and people management expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial close process for the corporate entity and international entities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet/income statement analysis.
  • Oversee the performance of the financial team and collaborate with senior management on cash flow reporting.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the accounts payable team regarding financial transactions.
  • Manage fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll and benefits, accrued income taxes, and all other accrued liabilities.
  • Prepare, record, and reconcile all long-term debt accounts such as notes payable, deferred financing fees, and accrued interest.
Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
  • Intermediate MS Excel and analytical skills, including vLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of managerial role.
