Financial Operations Manager

Job Description
  • The role of Financial Operations Manager is to oversee financial activities across a complex group structure with the parent company as the primary entity. This includes managing subsidiaries, each with their own unique financial needs and requirements.
  • The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for operational finance activities such as invoicing, payroll, project accounting, and budgeting tailored to the media and entertainment industry.
Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely collection and payment of invoices.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including superannuation and PAYG compliance.
  • Coordinate financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Implement scalable financial systems to support future group expansion, including mergers and acquisitions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA certification required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a multi-entity group structure.
  • Proven expertise in inter-company transactions, group consolidation, and Australian tax compliance.
