Financial Operations Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive financial operations professional to support our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in bookkeeping and billing, thrive in a fast-paced remote environment, and enjoy wearing many hats across financial operations.

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and journal entries.
  • Process invoices, refunds, and credits, and assist with collections.
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve finance-related support issues.
  • Support ad-hoc financial operations tasks and data entry.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth financial workflows.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or bookkeeping.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Highly organized and dependable with solid time management.
  • Proactive problem-solver who can work independently without frequent escalation.
  • Comfortable working with communication tools like Slack and Gmail.
  • Able to work full-time during any US time zone (EST/CST preferred).

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting tools.
  • Familiarity with billing platforms (Chargebee, Stripe, Recurly, etc.).
  • Background in startups, SMEs, freelancing, or remote admin work.
